Kaizer Chiefs have already parted ways with Edward Manqele this season, and there are reports linking the club with further exits from their striking department. But how much money could they lose as a result?
The Soweto giants' strike force spent most of the season struggling to find the back of the net, but in the past few weeks, it seems Bernard Parker has experienced a revival in form, while Gustavo Paez is proving an impressive scoop.
It is because of this that the likes of Lewis Macha, Siphelele Mthembu and Camaldine Abraw have not broken into the first team, and all three players have been linked with an exit from Naturena.
Mthembu's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether Chiefs will sell Macha and Abraw, or simply release them from their contracts.
If they do the latter, the club stands to lose about R10.5 million in cash, including for Manqele, according to what these players' current market values are.
