With Italy hosting England in Turin on Tuesday night, the Fan Park crew has decided to combine the two national squads in what we believe would be the best possible team.
The starting XI consists of six English players, while five Italians made our team.
We decided to field Harry Kane in the first team, as the word on the street is that he will make his full debut for his country, after coming on as a substitute against Lithuania and scoring after 78 seconds.
Here is our starting XI of Italy & England combined:
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus/Italy)
Left-back: Leighton Baines (Everton/England)
Centre-back: Gary Cahill (Chelsea/England)
Centre-back: Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus/Italy)
Right-back: Ignazio Abate (AC Milan/Italy)
Left-mid: Raheem Sterling (Liverpool/England)
Centre-mid: Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain/Italy)
Centre-mid: Jordan Henderson (Liverpool/England)
Right-mid: Antonio Candreva (Lazio/Italy)
Left-striker: Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur/England)
Right-striker: Wayne Rooney (Manchester United/England)
What changes would you make to this combined XI?
