Former Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Sredojevic silenced his critics when he managed to lift his first piece of silverware with his new club.
As part of his celebrations, he took to Twitter to highlight his career achievement but he also appeared to have taken a swipe at his former team.
Micho, who failed to win a major trophy during his time with the Buccaneers managed to end a personal drought when his Zamalek side were crowned Egypt Cup title winners.
The Wolf of Serbia, as Micho is known on the Twitter streets eluded to the fact that despite “clouds of doubt from elsewhere,” he managed to secure silverware.
“Working in African football since 2001 this is my (16th) major trophy in 5 different countries. It has special value & specific weight, as it comes after some clouds of doubts elsewhere. Zamalek is existing 108 years & since 1922 (97years) this is 1st cup won without (a) goal conceded,” he posted.
Do you think Coach Micho made reference to Pirates with his Twitter posts?
