It has been reported that Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates will need to fork out big bucks in order to land Evans Rusike's services, but how much could he actually cost?
The Zimbabwean striker has had a string of suitors chasing after his signature in this transfer window following his impressive debut season in the PSL, which saw him score nine goals.
According to the Siya crew, Maritzburg United will only be willing to sell him if one of the clubs offers a handsome sum of money.
Rusike's value, according to Transfermarkt, sits at a figure of R3.4 million, but it seems a lot more will need to be deposited in order for one of the Big Three clubs to secure his signature.
To put things into perspective, the Brazilians reportedly spent about R6 million for the services of Lucky Mohomi, while Kaizer Chiefs had their offer of the same figure rejected for Sibusiso Vilakazi.
The striker will certainly cost more than Mohomi, but not more than Bidvest Wits' star man. Therefore, an acceptable figure should be somewhere between what has been and will be paid for these two players.
How much money do you think it will take to secure the 26-year-old's services?
