How Local Football Figures Gave Back During The COVID-19 Crisis

The coronavirus pandemic has ensured that many South African citizens struggled to make ends meet due to a lack of funds and loss of job opportunities. We take a look at how some local football figures gave back to the community during this time.

Kaizer Motaung Jr, with his foundation, recently took the time to deliver some goods to the people of Nongoma in KwaZulu-Natal.

Ex-Kaizer Chiefs star Siphiwe Tshabalala also did his bit in lending a helping hand by delivering food to those in need along with the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation.

SuperSport United defender Clayton Daniels, with a waste management company, put together food parcels that were distributed to the people of Bishop Lavis in Cape Town.

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Tiyani Mabunda took part in some philanthropic work as well, delivering food to various Gauteng townships.
