Percy Tau recently helped Union Saint-Gilloise to an historical achievement after scoring a brace in his 15th start for the club. Did you see his goals?
Union met lower league side Knokke in the Round of 16 of the Belgium Cup this week with Tau coming to the rescue in a 3-2 victory.
The win meant that Union have reach the quarterfinals of the competition for the first time in 50 years, with Belgium giants Racing Genk set to be their next opponents.
The two teams went into the half-time break with a goal a piece and everything to play for in the next 45 minutes. The former Mamelodi Sundowns man then got on the score sheet in the 59th minute of the match and doubled his tally 10 minutes later.
Knokke received a glimmer of hope after they pulled one back with seven minutes to go, however, Tau and company did enough to withstand the pressure by their opponents.
