Following on from our local edition, we in Fan Park take a look at some International players that formed or created their own love triangles.
Here are our five Footballer's Love Triangles - International Edition:
John Terry & Vanessa Perroncel
It was back in 2010 when John Terry became England’s most hated man, after he was accused of having an affair with a former teammate’s girlfriend. Terry tried to keep the story out of the papers, but a court ruling ruled against it and it was later said the teammate was Wayne Bridge.
Ryan Giggs & Imogen Thomas
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has had a cloud over his head for many years now after he was \accused of two affairs. It was reported that the Welshman was involved with his sister-in-law, while back in 2007 it was rumoured that he had a fling with Big Brother star Imogen Thomas.
Ashley Cole & Three Mystery Woman
Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender Ashley Cole was married to pop star Cheryl Fernandez-Versini back in 2008, and the two were hailed as England’s golden couple. Cole was a bit of a bad boy back in the day and got accused of cheating on Cheryl with models Coralie Robinson, Brooke Healy and hairdresser Aiemee Walton.
Oliver Giroud & Celia Kay
Some will say scoring on the park isn’t a regular affair for Giroud, but the man doesn’t seem to have a problem off the field. The Arsenal striker was accused of cheating on his wife with model Celia Kay. The two were seen in the Four Season’s Hotel in Canary Wharf together and that was a night before Arsenal was set to play Crystal Palace. Giroud also publicly apologised for his personal issues via social media.
Mauro Icardi & Wanda Nara
In November 2013, the love triangle between Icardi, Maxi Lopez and Wanda Nara was exposed to the world. The Argentine is now dating Lopez’s former wife, Wanda Nara; however, the former friends have taken their feud to social media numerous times now, and it seems like it won’t die down anytime soon.
