A lot of the time players are judged by their form which reflects the fluctuation of their market value, but which PSL footballers have suffered the biggest decline in recent weeks? Let’s take a look!
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Anele Ngcongca is considered to be the highest valued player in the league after he returned to Mzansi following his contract termination with Genk. However, his comeback means that his value suffered a decrease by 20% (R7.5 million).
“Anzo” isn’t the only player to see his asking price lose value, as Kagisho Dikgacoi’s net worth also suffered a set back of 25% (R7.5 million). Despite this, he is still one of the most expensive players in the league.
Four of the five players on the list have either returned to South Africa or have joined the league for the first time, and it seems that it is a common trend that networths drop if one plays in the PSL after years spent elsewhere.
