Despite Bafana Bafana's underwhelming 0-0 draw with Libya this past weekend, Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune put on a display that was very much appreciated by the supporters. Did you see how they reacted to his performance?
Coach Stuart Baxter and his troops hosted the Libyans for a 2019 Afcon qualifier at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, with the North Africans coming away with the more desirable result.
The stalemate meant that Libya and South Africa occupy the first and second spot in Group E with four points from two games. Nigeria is currently in third spot with three points and Seychelles completes the group without a single win in their qualifying campaign thus far.
That said, "Itu" put on a brave performance and kept the spirited Libyan side at bay, and his showing was much appreciated by the fans after the game as they took to Twitter to thank Khune for his efforts.
