Thabo Qalinge has finally found a team since being released by Orlando Pirates at the end of last season. Fans have since reacted to the skillful player’s signing on social media.
After five years with the Buccaneers, Qalinge has signed a deal with SuperSport United the team confirmed on their social media platforms.
He becomes the third former Pirates player to sign for Matsatsantsa following the likes of Thamsanqa Gabuza and Kudakwashe Mahachi.
Qalinge, who packs pace and a bag of tricks, was a big crowd favourite while still in Bucs colours and now fans have paid tribute to the man known as ‘Section 10.’
Majority of fans feel as though the winger needs to stay injury-free if he were to recapture his form of old, while others feel that even though he never lived up to expectations for the Soweto giants, he will be missed.
