Leonardo Castro, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly set the Absa Premiership alight with their combination play and goals for Mamelodi Sundowns in 2015/16, but is it already the end for "Pretoria CBD"? Let's take a look!
News broke late on Wednesday afternoon that the Colombian wanted out of Chloorkop due to personal reasons, despite enjoying an impressive debut campaign in the PSL.
Castro, who scored 10 goals and bagged four assists in his 23 appearances, was expected to light up the league once again next season alongside Billiat and Dolly; however, that is looking increasingly unlikely.
With Castro seemingly on his way out, the attacking combination trio of the CBD will be destroyed, especially as fears also remain over Billiat's future.
The Zimbabwean has been linked with a possible move to France on a number of occasions, and while any real interest from a Ligue 1 club is yet to be confirmed, there are reservations he could be swooped up too.
Together, the CBD scored 37 goals across all competitions last season, and it would be considered a huge loss to the game if they don't remain intact for the 2016/17 campaign.
