Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Virgil Vries has been clubless since being released by Amakhosi at the end of the 2018/19 season; despite this, the Namibian was all smiles when he showed off his stunning personalized ride.
Vries has been back in his native Namibia, where he has been keeping fit on his own. The 28-year-old was part of Namibia’s Afcon preparations, but was not selected as part of the final squad.
Off the field, Vries stunned fans when he shared images of his classy Audi S3 hatchback, which boasted personalized tyres.
Personalizing his rides seems to be a thing for Vries, as he followed suit with his VW Golf 7 GTI. His initials and his favourite number 30 proudly adorn the car’s registration plates.
The VW when bought new, retails for around R500 000.
