Earlier this month, another South African footballer passed away in a car accident, and Mamelodi Sundowns' Keagan Dolly paid tribute to him. Did you see it?
Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns youth product Tshowana Mokonyana, who was famously known as "Dida", was sadly taken away after he was involved in a car accident on 5 October.
He was just 24 years old at the time of his passing, a year older than Dolly, and the CAF Champions League winner decided to pay tribute to him after the final.
"Keagz" was seen after the game sporting a top with the words: "RIP 15 Dida." He also dedicated the win to his late friend.

"Well, I dedicate this win to my late friend Mpho 'Dida' Mokonyana because we always had a dream, since we started at the School of Excellence, that one day we'll make South Africa proud, and last night I had the privilege to do that for myself and him," the midfielder revealed.
