The encounter between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday saw some contentious decisions being awarded to the London club, including two penalty kicks. And while the game ended in a 2-2 draw, a worrying incident has since been caught on camera. Did the one linesman celebrate the awarding of a Spurs penalty?
The Reds grabbed the lead after just three minutes courtesy of a goal from Mohamed Salah, but were forced to find their way back when Victor Wanyama bagged a scorcher of an equaliser in the 80th minute.
Four minutes later, a penalty was awarded to the travelling side, only for it to be missed by Harry Kane. Salah then thought he had grabbed the match-winner through his strike in the 91st minute, only for another penalty to be granted to the Lilywhites in the fourth minute of injury time.
Unlike his first attempt, Kane converted from the spot to draw level. Unsurprisingly, the visitors celebrated as if they had won the game – and it seems the one linesman did too when the penalty was awarded...

Of course, this is not confirmed and it could have been a natural swing of the arm, but many Liverpool fans are concerned. Perhaps rightly so.
