Orlando Pirates are no doubt blessed with some of the most exciting attacking prospects in the country and, provided they get enough time to bed in the team, magic is sure to be produced.
Having said that, let’s look at some of the exciting partnerships we could well see next season at the Orlando Stadium.
Khethokwakhe Masuku and Menzi Masuku
These two exciting attack-minded footballers were recently awarded their first start together, against SuperSport Untied on the weekend, and thrilled spectators throughout the game. One playing as a midfielder and the other as a winger, Bucs fans will be eager to see what relationship the tricksters can form on the pitch.
Kermit Erasmus and Thamsanqa Gabuza
Despite Gabuza not featuring as much as Erasmus did this season, the pair had a chance to lead the line last week against Matsatsantsa and looked menacing throughout the game. It remains to be seen how Bucs' talented strikers will line-up next season, but it can be said that the Erasmus and Gabuza pairing looks an exciting prospect.
Thabo Rakhale and Sifiso Myeni
This could be the partnership many fans would want to see more often, as Myeni and Rakhale are by far the two most entertaining Bucs players at the moment. With Myeni being a regular in the team and Jomo tipped to have a bigger role at the club next season, we may see a yet another set of classic Pirates wingers on display.
Those are but some exciting partnerships we could see next season, what other combinations are you excited to see?
