Tuesday evening's UEFA Champions League action did not lack in goals, with the ball hitting the back of the net a staggering 28 times in two hours. But of all the strikes, which one was the best? Let's take a look!
Chelsea newcomer Davide Zappacosta's transfer from Italy to London went largely unnoticed, and when he made his debut in the Champions League game against Azerbaijani team Qarabag, it would have been understandable if fans didn't know who he was. However, it seems the 25-year-old right back was having none of that.
He seemingly decided to take matters into his own hands by not only announcing his arrival to the Blues faithful, but to the world as well, with a spectacular goal that even the best of strikers would be proud of.
There was some scepticism amongst spectators about whether or not the goal was intentional, with some believing it was a botched attempt at a cross that luckily ended up between the poles, and the player has since revealed that he did mean to cross the ball.
However, it seems not everyone was thrilled about Zappacosta being on target. A hilarious video of Victor Moses' reaction surfaced on Twitter, and it appears the wing back was less than thrilled that his competition in the squad was impressing on the biggest stage.
Zappacosta certainly seemed delighted with his contribution, though, making a snap of himself celebrating his goal as his profile picture on Twitter.
