The 31-year-old scored his 250th goal for the club against Stoke City to break Sir Bobby Charlton's 44-year-old record for the most goals scored for the Old Trafford side.
To celebrate the amazing milestone, Rooney was handed a limited edition pair of Nike Hypervenoms, which featured a special gold graphic on the tongue, for United's EFL Cup semi-final against Hull City on Thursday.
Rooney unfortunately never got to use the boots on the night, but will surely get a chance put them to work against Wigan Athletic on Sunday.
