Following their round of 16 exit at the hands of Tunisia, former Black Stars’ controversial attacker Kevin-Prince Boateng has hit out at Ghana on social media. Check it out.
James Kwesi Appiah's side lost 5-4 on penalties, after the clash ended 1-1 after extra-time.
Boateng, who will return to Italian side Sassuolo after his loan deal was not made permanent by Spanish giants FC Barcelona, was not selected to represent Ghana in Egypt.
The 32-year-old was candid in his evaluation of Ghana’s defeat on Twitter.
“No PRINCE no PARTY #GhanaBlackStars #afcon” Boateng wrote.
Boateng last turned out for Ghana in a 2-2 draw against USA in the 2014 FIFA World cup.
Tunisia, who ended a run of six defeats to Ghana in the AFCON, set up a quarter-final showdown with Madagascar on Thursday.
Do you think Ghana would have performed better with Boateng in the side?
