Mohammed Bin Salman is a name frequently spoken of in football circles these days as the Saudi prince looks set to inject his riches into the English game. We look at some of the over-the-top possessions owned by the 34-year-old multi-billionaire. Check it out!
In recent months, a bulk of the Manchester United fanbase were licking their lips at the prospect of being under new ownership after becoming disgruntled under the guidance of the Glazer family. Bin Salman was reported to have shown interest in purchasing the Red Devils for some £3 billion (R70billion) earlier this year, but talk of a takeover at Old Trafford has since died down.
Reports in the media have now suggested that the wealthy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia will turn his attention to Newcastle United, in a £300 million (R7 billion) takeover.
With a reported wealth of £7 billion (R163 billion), Bin Salman is basically able to afford anything he wants, which reportedly includes the world's most expensive home. Named the Chateau Louis XIV, The Sun has reported that he purchased the 17th century palace for some £230 million (R5.3 billion).
Also part of his incredible list of assets is his luxury Serene 24-guest superyacht worth £380 million (R8.8 billion), and according to Business Insider, Bin Salman has even purchased a Leonardo da Vinci panting worth $450 million (R8.4 billion).
