Real Madrid's star forward Gareth Bale is celebrating Christmas early with what he has described as the "perfect Christmas present".

Following the Spanish club's 10-2 demolition of Rayo Vallecano, in which Bale scored four goals for the first time in his career, the Welshman posted a picture on Instagram posing with the match ball, which he was awarded after his incredible performance.

Karim Benzema also scored a hat-trick in the encounter, while Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a brace.
