Shakes Mashaba recently announced his squad to face Senegal in next month's World Cup qualifier, but did you know that three of his attackers have played an astonishing low number of minutes combined? Let's break it down!

The Bafana Bafana head coach surprised most when he called up Dutch-born Lars Veldwijk for the first time, while he has also selected Thulani Serero and Bradley Grobler.
Veldwijk, whose father was born in Mzansi, enjoyed an incredible season last term with PEC Zwolle, but has since struggled for game time and form since moving to Belgium.
In fact, he has played just 15 minutes of action in the Jupiler League, while SuperSport United's Grobler has been limited to just 90 minutes in the PSL due to injury troubles.
Neither striker has found the back of the net (in the league) since last term, and the same applies to Serero, who is yet to even play for Ajax Amsterdam in the Eredivisie this season.
While this may seem shocking, this is, in fact, a habit Mashaba has developed – he famously used to pick Tokelo Rantie (when at Bournemouth) even though he had not played a single minute since December 2015.
This is massively concerning ahead of a tough fixture against Senegal. Do you think Shakes got it right with his selection?
