11 Zimbabweans Who Played For Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs have long had a Zimbabwean culture about them, and since 2011, the club has brought 11 Warriors to Naturena. Can you name all of them?

It was just a few weeks ago when Willard Katsande was named the club's Player of the Season after a sterling campaign, and he has certainly been flying the flag for Zimbabweans in the team.

His excellent season saw his name being written into the club's history books, where is joined by a number of his countryman.

Thomas Sweswe was, of course, largely admired by the Amakhosi fans, while Knowledge Musona is still a favourite among the stern supporters following his two spells with the club.

In contrast, this year saw the release of Ovidy Karuru, who failed to make an impact during his time at the Village, while last year Matthew Rusike walked away for free.

Can you remember who the other Zimbabweans were? Browse through the gallery above to take a walk down memory lane.
