What’s the story?
In the 2016 Olympic games, the AmaGlug-glug football team were drawn into a group with hosts Brazil, with the side featuring a number of top talents, including that of Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.
Local football fans were looking forward to the clash against the Samba boys, with South Africa themselves sending a squad full of up and coming talents such as Mobara, Keagan Dolly, Itumeleng Khune and Rivaldo Coetzee.

The game ended as a 0-0 stalemate, with South Africa getting the more desired result given that they held the Brazilians in their own backyard.
That said, one of the star performers in keeping the talented Brazilians at bay was that of Mobara, who had one of, if not his finest individual performances of his career thus far.
Shutting Neymar Down
Mobara, who plied his trade for Orlando Pirates at the time, shut down Neymar every chance he got and never let him out of his sight.
The game played out where Neymar and Mobara naturally faced each other in 1v1 duels, with the South African coming out on tops every time. Back home, supporters were left in awe of Mobara’s performance, given that many of the world’s top defenders were often left on the floor whenever Neymar strutted his stuff.
