Hlompho Kekana has scored his fair share of crackers throughout his illustrious career, however there was one strike in particular that earned him global recognition.
While doing duty for Bafana Bafana in the 2016 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, the Mamelodi Sundowns captain squared up against a formidable Cameroon.
The match took place in Yaoundé and the 34-year-old served up one of his signature strikes that left fans in awe.
The Zebediele-born man won the ball in his own half, he then looked up, spotted Ndy Assembe off his line and hit a powerful, rasping effort over the hapless keeper who could only look on as it sailed into the back of the net.
The strike earned Kekana a Puskas nomination, however, he did not garner enough votes to challenge the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar.
