The PSL's Most Valuable Attacking Midfielders

The PSL's Most Valuable Attacking Midfielders

Attacking midfielders are the men on the field who get limited recognition, but do a large portion of creating the link between the midfield and the striking unit. But can you guess which players make the list for the most valuable attacking mids?

Bidvest Wits' Sibusiso Vilakazi is a man who has continuously been linked with a move to the PSL's big three over the past few transfer windows, but he is yet to take that step in his career.

"Vila" is considered the most valuable player in this position, and SuperSport United's Dove Wome, who isn't the only player from Matsatsantsa on the list, follows closely behind the 26-year-old.

Meanwhile, across in Orlando, Mpho Makola has made the list despite having limited game time in recent seasons. But if some of his performances in this campaign are anything to go by, then one can understand why he is in the top 10.

Here are the top 10 most valuable attacking midfielders in the PSL:

10. Toriq Losper (Ajax Cape Town): R4 million

9. Isaka Cernak (SuperSport United): R4 million

8. Bantu Mzwakali (Ajax Cape Town): R4.4 million

7. Kurt Lentjies (Maritzburg United): R4.4 million

6. Mpho Makola (Orlando Pirates): R6.4 million

5. George Maluleka (Kaizer Chiefs): R6.72 million

4. Teko Modise (Mamelodi Sundowns): R6.72 million

3. Lerato Chabangu (Chippa United): R8 million

2. Dove Wome (SuperSport United): R8.8 million

1. Sibusiso Vilakazi (Bidvest Wits): R9.6 million

Which of these players is your favourite?
