In bizarre news coming from abroad, 162 fans in South Korea have taken Juventus to court and won won a court case against Italian giants.
Juve Ace Cristiano Ronaldo had been expected to feature for Juventus in their pre-season friendly with a K-League all-stars team in July 2019. Much to the disappointment of fans, he remained on the bench for the entire match, which ended in 3-3 draw.
It is safe to say that the majority of the 65,000-capacity crowd at the Seoul World Cup Stadium were left disappointed.

162 of those fans did not take the matter lying down though and took Juventus to court saying Ronaldo being left on the bench during the pre-season friendly in the country caused them 'emotional distress'.
The court ruled in favour of the fans and Juventus were ordered to refund half of the ticket price and pay an extra $50,000 (±R766 000) to each of the fans in damages, which amounted to ±R124 Million.
