In what was a first in the PSL, Mokwena was loaned out to Chippa United a couple of weeks before the country went into its nationwide lockdown. He was required to be at the helm until the end of the season, which would have been 30 June under normal circumstances before the coronavirus pandemic became a reality.
With his short-term deal ending and it being confirmed that it would not be extended, it remains to be seen what the next move will be for the 33-year-old after honouring his contract with the Chilli Boys.
