In FC Barcelona's 4-0 LaLiga win over Osasuna, Messi celebrated his goal by showing off the Newell's Old Boy jersey worn by Maradona beneath his Barca kit.
During the game, fans on social media also noticed that Messi seemingly tried to use his hand inside the Osasuna box before the ball crossed the line for a goal. Many likened the attempt to that of Maradona's famous "Hand Of God" goal against England at the 1986 World Cup.
