With the new Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns kits being major talking points among fans at the moment, a series of Bafana Bafana concept jerseys were recently showcased. Check it out!
Earlier this year, it was reported that the South African national team would be getting new shirt sponsors after ending their deal with sportswear giants, Nike.
Historic French brand Le Coq Sportif will now be the national team's new shirt sponsor after a long-term deal was agreed in March.
With Bafana Bafana yet to reveal their new threads, a local designer by the name of Lwazi Ngcungama took the liberty of designing a few concept jerseys with logos of its new sponsors.
Ngcungama posts sports apparel concept designs on a social media page called "FREEWAYARTS DESIGN", and images of his Bafana shirts concepts have been floating about on social media.
The sleek designs showcase hints of Bafana's iconic 1996 Africa Cup of Nations jerseys, a kit that easily goes down as one of the most memorable in South African football history.
