What’s the story?
As he is affectionately known locally, Jingles is deemed to be one of the greatest coaches of his generation. The Al Ahly mentor recently bagged his third CAF Champions League trophy with the Egyptian giants, after sweeping Kaizer Chiefs to the side in the final earlier this month.
Winning Mentality
Much was made about Mosimane’s CCL win with the club last season, given that he had joined the team who had already progressed to the later rounds of the tournament.
Nonetheless, coach Pitso silenced the critics in claiming Africa’s most coveted prize in club competition in his first full season with Al Ahly.
Before jetting off to Egypt, Mosimane already had a stacked trophy cabinet as one of South Africa’s most successful mentors of his time.
Success In Mzansi
Jingles is currently a five-time league winner in Mzansi, while also being a two time Nedbank Cup and Telkom Knockout winner as well.
With Downs, Mosimane also claimed a CAF Champions League title, including a CAF Super Cup accolade.
