Nurkovic is one of the nominees, along with Peter Shalulile, Gaston Sirino and Themba Zwane, who could claim the PSL Player of the Season award, and could impressively do it in his first campaign in South African football.
The Serbian star scored 13 league goals in 26 appearances last season, and produced a total of 14 goals and six assists overall.
As usual, fans had much to say about who ought to win the individual accolade, with many feeling that Nurkovic deserves the prize.
