It comes as no surprise then that a number of top brands looked forward to working with the Bafana Bafana shot-stopper and had subsequently secured a number of endorsement deals throughout his professional career.
In 2010, Khune became an African ambassador for the Kiwi Shoe Polish company alongside 800m Kenyan track and field athlete David Rudisha. 'Itu' also had a deal with Vaseline For Men, even featuring on advertisements for the company.
