What’s the story?
As mentioned, one of the first kit leaks for the 22/23 season recently went viral on social media, despite the current campaign being far from over.
For the team in question, snippet images of what could well be a Manchester United jersey for next season was shared among fans on Twitter and Instagram in the last 24 hours. The images showcase a newly designed collar of the shirt, with it having a retro look to it.
Paying Homage
When releasing kits, the Red Devils have constantly paid homage to jersey designs of yesteryear, honouring some of their most successful periods in their history.
That being said, a number of publications have reported on the new reported kit leak, with many deeming the images to be snippets of the Red Devils new home jersey.

According to Footy Headlines, a website known for accurately reporting on kit leaks, mentioned, “We can leak the first picture of Man Utd's new 2022-2023 home kit. It is of course made by Adidas and will be worn in the Premier League 22-23 campaign,” in one of their latest updates.
