Sundowns overcame TTM in what was an awkward fixture on Tuesday afternoon and had to claw their way back after going down 1-0 in the 18th minute of the game.

Patience was thus the name of the game as the Chloorkop side began stringing passes together in the hope of opening the watertight TTM defence on the day. Downs this drew one back on the stroke of half-time as Rivaldo Coetzee scored his first goal for the club.

Sundowns added two more goals to their tally with Sphelele Mkhulise and Sibusiso Vilakazi getting in on the action as the Brazilians took charge of the game.

A tactical switch in the second half saw Morena and Lyle Lakay switch flanks, which began causing problems to the TTM defensive set-up.
