Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain produced one of the best UEFA Champions League semi-final encounters in recent years! With that said, we check out how the Citizens celebrated their win in the dressing room after the game. Have a look!
What’s the story?
City and PSG can be deemed as two of the most ambitious clubs in Europe at the moment, with both vying to add Champions League glory as one of the missing pieces in their relentless trophy pursuits.
Pep Guardiola’s side managed to overcome last year’s UCL finalists in the penultimate round of the tournament in a 4-1 aggregate win, capping it off in style at the Etihad on Tuesday night.
The Legacy Continues
For the Spanish mentor, Guardiola will now feature in his first semi-final since 2011 when his Barcelona side ran riot against Manchester United in a 3-1 win at the Wembley Stadium.
The former Bayern Munich manager stole the headlines for some of the tactical adjustments he made throughout the game against PSG, while the likes of Phil Foden, Riyaad Mahrez and Oleksandr Zinchenko were the star turners on the night.
It’s A Celebration
In reaching their first-ever UCL final, the Manchester City stars were elated at their progression, which was very much evident in their dressing room celebrations after the game.
In a video that went viral on social media after the game, the Citizens stars were in a blurry trance as they danced and screamed at the top of their lungs in celebration.
