What more can be said about a legend, whose name is synonymous with Mzansi diski.
His rags to riches story is well that is well documented. From books, to magazines, to tabloids, and even paparazzi, Teko’s touching story has been told to the masses.
These days, the former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker effortlessly navigates life after football as he did during his playing days, where he has taken up a host of roles including being an executive Public Relations officer for Cape Town City –the last team that he played for- being an excellent pundit, a radio host, as well as a fashion icon amongst other things.
Off the field, the former Mamelodi Sundowns man has had his fair share of cars, luxurious ones to say the least.
The list includes an Aston Martin DB9- which the 38-year-old admits he bought when he “was bored” in his book The curse of Teko Modise
There is also the famous black BMW M3, which proudly boasted ‘The Gen GP’ as his license plates, after one of his many nicknames ‘The General’ it is also a car he vowed to never sell- after he saw the peak condition that former Kaizer Chiefs midfield maestro Thabo Mooki kept his after all these years.
There was also a host of endorsed cars, including a Ford Mustang, A Lexus, as well as a VW Scirocco R-line.
Who can forget the time tabloids reported that he was allegedly broke and had to switch from his Jeep SRT8 to a more modest Golf 7 GTI.
Throughout the years, there were also cars like a Jeep Wrangler, a Jaguar, a Porsche and a Mercedes Benz.
