It's almost inevitable that Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will score over 30 goals this next season, but here are five others that need to now take their game to different heights.
Luis Suarez
The Uruguayan scored 25 times last season for Barcelona, which makes us think of how much damage he would've caused had he not sat out the first four months. Suarez will be key for the Catalan club next season, and he may even break some records.
Wayne Rooney
For the last two seasons, Manchester United have missed having a clinical striker, and in this next campaign, Rooney needs to be that player. With the assistance from Memphis Depay, Ashely Young and Juan Mata, the Red Devils captain may find his best form yet.
Diego Costa
The former Atletico man was impressive in his first season at Chelsea, but there's a feeling around the ground that Costa may be 10 times better in their 2015/16 campaign, provided he stays injury free.
Olivier Giroud
If Arsenal are going to challenge for the Premier League title this season, Giroud will need to be at his utmost best. The forward has been criticised for not being a 30-goal-a-season striker, but again in this case, if he can avoid spells on the sidelines – he's more than capable of a flurry of goals.
Karim Benzema
The Frenchman is always dangerous at Real Madrid, though questions are often raised regarding his consistency. Benzema will need to step it up a level this season, in order for him to write his name into Los Blancos' history books.
Do you believe that these forwards could score at least 30 goals this season?
