Itumeleng Khune and his family are not taking any chances and have stocked up on supplies ahead of the 21-day Lockdown announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
All eyes were on Parliament on Monday evening as Ramaphosa announced that the country will enter a national lockdown on Thursday March 26.
Following the news, Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Khune and his partner Siphelele Makhunga, wasted no time as they headed to the shop to stock up on groceries galore.

Despite the President’s assurance that panic buying was not necessary at this stage, it seems Khune is taking no chances as he plans to stay at home for the next 21 days.
The Amakhosi shotstopper is also a leading figure in Nike’s #Playathome campaign that encourages football fans across the world to stay home in an effort to curb Covid-19
