What’s the story?
The Royal AM chairman has been one of the most talked-about figures in local football in recent months, after he made his controversial debut for the club as a player last month.
While many debated his football ability on the pitch, Mpisane has turned to do good off it as seen in one of his recent social media posts.

Giving Back To Students
In a birthday post and after some self-reflection, Mpisane revealed that he would be aiding R10 000 to 20 students who have recurring debt from 2020, as a result of the pandemic leaving many young people financially stranded.
He said, “Good Morning World. Today marks my 20th birthday and reaching this milestone has me reflecting on my life and how blessed I have been. Growing up requires one to look at things differently. As a young chairman, my focus has been on seeing team @royalam_fc grow but we cannot neglect the difficult year we’ve had because of COVID as it has resulted in many people being left unemployed and in unfavourable financial situations.
“In light of the current #FeesMustFall situation and in celebration of my 20th birthday this year I would like to give back by gifting 20 university students that have recurring debt from 2020 with R10 000 towards their fees. You can also nominate someone in need of this financial aid.”
Mpisane also gave details on how students could obtain the cash injection toward their studies further down in the caption of his post and also mentioned that people could nominate others for the provision.
