Apart from being a combative midfielder, Bafana star Bongani Zungu also has a few goals in his arsenal and he recently shared some of his finest strikes.
Zungu has been an integral part of both his club side Amiens SC as well as the national team.
Despite being a defensive midfielder, the 27-year-old does chip in with the odd goal occasionally.
Whether it is with his quick feet or with the use of his head, Zungu in his own words “always finds himself at the right place at the right time.”
This was evident when he starred for Bafana in the 2019 AFCON where he found the back of the net twice for Stuart Baxter’s men.
Scoring goals is something Zungu did regularly in the early stages of his career while still on the books of the University of Pretoria.
However, this is something that died down when Pitso Mosimane converted him to a defensive midfielder after joining Downs.
Check out some of his best strikes here.
What do you make of Zungu’s goal scoring abilities?
