The Mzansi legend, who is one of the most recognisable faces in football, jetted off to Zanzibar where he has been enjoying a well-deserved holiday following his exploits as a football pundit in the season gone by.

However, the good doctor had no idea what was in store for him in Zanzibar.

Flanked by a number of dignitaries, amongst them former Chelsea and Ghana national team coach Avram Grant, Khumalo received a surprise birthday celebration.

Khumalo, who is quite active on his social media platforms shared the experience with his 38,000-strong followership.
