While most footballers' boots are sponsored by familiar big-name brands, Cape Town City and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Darren Keet has opted for the road less travelled when it comes to his boots – which are the most unique in the PSL.

Sure, brands such as PUMA, Nike or Adidas – and even Lotto - are sure to dominate the headlines but for Keet, the City shot stopper has been sporting boots from American-based company TRUsox, who are more known for their non-slip socks than they are for boots.
‘Popeye’ as Keet is affectionately known, showed off his Red Tenaci boots via his social media pages, along with his gloves.
While he is yet to feature for City after undergoing surgery, fans will have to wait a bit longer to see the talented goalie turn out in his TRU boots.
