What’s the story?
Body ink is often a controversial and taboo topic for most as some people consider it as harming of one's skin but it's a form of our lives that has been in existence since the ancient times of the Roman and Egyptian empires.
That tradition continues today …
Some of Mzansi’s biggest ballers have done proponents of body modification, expressing important landmarks and emotional tributes of those they hold closest to their hearts, inked on themselves. Sometimes the reason does not even carry any meaning but it looks attractive and that can be a reason to get a tattoo as well.
Monare new ink?
Orlando Pirates are aiming to have a good 2021/22 campaign and possibly launch a title charge this season and one of their stars looks ready for the fight as Thabang Monare unveiled his new tattoo on his left arm which contains a wolf with a forest and a shining moon.
The animal looks scary as it roars as if it is ready for a battle. Perhaps the metaphor is that the 31-year-old is not fearful of the challenges ahead and hopes to face them head-on.
Previous tattoos?
This is not Monare's first time getting inked, the midfielder already has a full sleeve of tattoos on his right arm but it remains unclear from his Instagram pictures as to what visuals is on his arm.
