Craziest Hairstyles In Football

Craziest Hairstyles In Football

Footballers sometimes get more attention on the pitch because of their haircuts, rather than their actual performances. Today we look at the best five hairstyles that have been donned by some of Europe's biggest stars.

5. Stephan El Shaarawy

The young AC Milan star, known as "the Pharaoh" is famous for his incredible Mohawk, as well as his blistering speed and dribbling skills… He possesses a powerful shot as well, but I think it's his hair that's his most recognisable feature.

4. Bacary Sagna

Sagna was an ever present at Arsenal for years until he completed a move to Manchester City this summer. He isn't a regular starter at the Etihad, but you could easily spot him during game time by looking out for his signature locks.

3. Marouane Fellaini

Fellaini's huge afro is probably more famous than him. Since moving to Manchester United, he hasn't been a regular starter. Maybe if he cut his hair, his coaches may take him more seriously…

2. Neymar

Neymar has probably changed his hairstyle more often than he's scored goals, and that's saying something, because the Brazilian superstar scores incredibly regularly. Above is a picture of the Mohawk/mullet style that he had in 2011.

1. David Luiz

The former Chelsea, and now PSG star centre back has the craziest long curly hair that you'll ever see and bears a striking resemblance to The Simpson's character, 'Sideshow Bob'. I couldn't imagine what he'd look like without them though…

These haircuts certainly made a few headlines… I wonder if their hairdressers meant to do that…

Which hairstyle do you think is the best?
