FIFA have officially revealed the winner of the Best FIFA Men's Player award for 2023 at a ceremony in London on Monday night.
Lionel Messi added another individual accolade to his collection after being named Best FIFA Men's Player Award for 2023.
The Argentina caps off a memorable individual year after beating Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to the award, months after winning his eighth Ballon d'Or last year.
The 35-year-old has now won the award for a third time, more than any player in the history of the award.
FIFA have revealed that both Messi and Haaland secured 48 points in the voting, but the former won the award after gaining more 'five point' scores from international captains.
