The story

Every Football Manager gamer is always looking to find a wonderkid for their team, without having to do damage to their transfer budgets.

In Mzansi, we have a number of supremely talented youngsters to choose from, but they don't all get the first team football experience they need, either due to age or them being touted as players for the future.

Orlando Pirates winger Relebohile Mofokeng, and SuperSport United stars Shandre Campbell (winger) and Ime Okon (defender), are probably the DStv Premiership's most consistent youngsters this season.

They not only tick the boxes for talent, hard work and first team experience, they also have the potential to become top class ballers in Europe's top leagues.

All three have been linked with a move abroad, with Danish giants Midtjylland already looking at Okon, while Mofokeng was looked at by English Premier League outfit, Wolves.

If your team is looking for some pace, skill and elite decision, mainly out wide, 18-year-old Campbell (Rated 50/200 on FM24) is the man for you.

He's managed four assists and two goals in 14 league appearances for Matsatsantsa this season and like Okon, Shandre has been linked with a move to Europe.

He has a value of R10.2 million of FM 24, just over 500 000 Euros, which is cheaper than most European wonderkids at big clubs.

To attain a cool, calm and composed defender with an elite passing range and impressive box defending, Ime Okon (Rated 50/200 on FM24)  would be a bargain for your FM24 save, with a transfer-fee value of R7.7 million.

The 20-year-old has played all but two league matches for the Spartans this season, starting more than 80% of the games for Gavin Hunt. He'd be worth every penny!

Last but not least is the mercurial, silky and brave attacker, Relebohile Mofokeng. The 19-year-old is one of the most hyped young players in SA after breaking through in the middle of the 2022/23 season for the Buccaneers, and has already managed three trophies in this short period.

With 18 league appearances and seven goal contributions to his name so far, Mofokeng (Rated 51/200 on FM24) has the ability to orchestrate attacks and with his creativity and IQ, he'll likely play as a number 10 in the future and terrorise opposition defenders with needle-threading passes and more.

On FM 24, the mega talented baller is valued at around R5.2 million, which is cheap considering his potential.
