Seemingly due to an ongoing feud with head coach Erik ten Hag, English winger Jadon Sancho was not called upon when United captured their team picture for the 2023/24 campaign.
The former Borussia Dortmund star has been training way from the first-team group since his public fallout with Ten Hag, who has demanded an apology from the player.
The Dutchman, answering a question over Sancho's absence in a press conference following a 3-1 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League in September, said he had not been training well, remarks the ex-Bundesliga man responded to with a statement on social media.
Sancho urged his followers not to believe everything they read, and claimed he had been made a scapegoat for United's problems.
Since then, it has been reported that the winger has still not apologised to Ten Hag, making his return to the first-team fold unlikely any time soon despite his £250 000 (R5.7 million) weekly wage.
Manchester Evening News reports that Sancho was subsequently left out of a recent team photo at their Carrington training complex.
