Morton, who has become quite the content creator on Instagram and TikTok, also answered whether or not it's awkward singing iGwijo in situations where he's the only white player in the team.

35-year-old midfielder Michael Morton recently answered a fan question on TikTok, revealing whether or not it was awkward being the only white guy in the change room and having to sing iGwijo.
Singing songs before taking to the field is a highly-respected tradition among most if not all South African football teams at any level.
Whether you're in a PSL team or representing Mzansi at various age groups and senior level, iGwijo is a key factor in the matchday preparations of our nation's footballers.
Morton can be regarded as a journeyman in South African football, as he started out his career at Orlando Pirates and enjoyed stints at the now defunct Bidvest Wits, Maritzburg United, SuperSport United, AmaZulu FC, Cape Umoya and All Stars.
When asked how it is being the only white guy in the change room during the pre-match singing, this is how the Cape Town Spurs star responded:
"Look, I grew up at Orlando Pirates. I was there since I was 11-years-old, spent eight years there... I actually don't know what it's like to start the game without the singing. It's become a massive part of the build-up to a game for me. It doesn't feel the same unless we have a good vibe in the dressing room and the songs are flowing.
"I've spent 25 years singing these songs. I've got a solid playlist in me, yeah, I love it man. If you don't have a good vibe in the dressing room and in the tunnel before a game, it just doesn't feel the same. It's second nature to me, I love it, it's part of South African football culture and I wouldn't have it any other way," added Morton.
