Under Which Referee Have Chiefs Lost The Most Games?

Victor Hlungwani Has Overseen The Most Losses For Kaizer Chiefs

By Kyle Smith - Jun 18, 2017 03:31 PM @KyleLaduma

Last week, we looked at under which referee Kaizer Chiefs managed to win the most games and today we take a look at the referee who has overseen the most losses for Amakhosi.

Under Which Referee Have Chiefs Won The Most Games?

Chiefs were able to win three games under Kulasande Qongqo’s watch in the four games over which he presided. However, Chiefs fans found less joy when it was Victor Hlungwani that held the whistle.

During his six games in charge of the Soweto giant’s Absa Premiership matches, Hlungwani saw three games go end in the opposition’s favour, while Chiefs won two and drew the other one. In addition to that, Hlungwani issued 12 yellow cards against Chiefs players and awarded one penalty.

No other referee oversaw more than one defeat against Chiefs, but they will also be wary of Victor Gomes, who was in charge of four Chiefs’ games, with three ending in draws and one resulting in a loss.

Again, Kaizer Chiefs will undoubtedly be doing their homework on this vital part of the game and will analyse the performances of the men holding the whistle to use the patterns to work to their advantage.

What is the point of this article? Is it to put referees under pressure or to induce hatred of certain referees by fans? Will articles be done also about other teams?

There is no truth from the widespread report about Chiefs players salaries. Publish the payslip we want to see it as a proof. Speculations and defamatory news are dangerous

This is not a surprise article. We are not shocked at all. Chimps win by referees anyway that's why they will never make it in group stage because Bobby has no connection to the referees there

This Hlungwani disallowed a clear Kingston Nkhatha goal against PLK City; he allowed a "goal" by Ng'ambi to stand against KC whilst the ball hadn't crossed the line. I was shocked why he was not suspended. I don't want refs to like us, but they too should be fair, we know they have teams they support too. Pitso once declared that this Hlungwani is his favourite ref; i don't know what that means. Again, i find this topic by Soccerladuma very abominable; which other team has been researched so thoroughly? This lousy article feeds into the narrative that some refs like or hate certain teams.

Both Gomez and Hlongwani tried their best to help Chimps win but they were just dismal shame.. They cant take a penalty for the likes of Parker.
