Ndoro, Katsvairo, Mahachi & The Players Whose Footsteps Chiefs Target Will Follow
Teenage Hadebe To Follow Other Chicken Inn Stars To The PSL
After reports that Kaizer Chiefs target, Teenage Hadebe, is reportedly on the verge of joining Amakhosi from Chicken Inn, we take a look at other PSL stars that emerged from Zimbabwean club, Chicken Inn.
In Soccer Laduma issue number 1028 it was reported that the 21-year-old has agreed to a deal in principle with the Soweto giants. However, Hadebe’s move from the Zimbabwean club to South Africa’s top flight is not an unfamiliar move, with several other players that cut their teeth there, who have moved on to various clubs in Mzansi.

Perhaps the most notable of the currently active Absa Premiership players to have come from Chicken Inn is Orlando Pirates’ Tendai Ndoro, who signed for Mpumalanga Black Aces in January 2014, prior to his move to Pirates 18 months later.
The next player that emerged from their ranks to ply his trade in the PSL is Golden Arrows’ Kudakwashe Mahachi, although the winger first moved to The Highlanders in Zimbabwe, before joining Mamelodi Sundowns in July 2014 and joining Golden Arrows permanently in August last year, following a one-year loan spell at the club.
The most recent additions to the PSL come in the form of Michelle Katsvairo and Edmore Chirambadare, who joined Hadebe’s would be future employers, Kaizer Chiefs prior to the 2016/17 season.
